Creating your own custom preview image

You can create your own custom image to use for a family's thumbnail and preview image in Kinship.

To create and use your own custom preview image, follow these steps:

1. Open the family in Revit and take a screenshot or export a PNG image based on your desired view.
2. Save and rename the image to 'thumb.png'. 
3. Go to the library or collection containing the family and click on the tile or row for the family.
4. On the family’s detail page, click on the Files button (see first screenshot below):
5. On the Files page, click the “Upload a file” button on the left-hand side (see the second screenshot below).
6. Navigate to the “thumb.png” screenshot file and then click “Upload”.
7. The custom image will be uploaded and immediately replace with the default preview image.
