Creating Collections

Collections are alternative libraries for managing and sharing content.

Use collections for content related to a specific to a client, sector, region, sub-discipline and more.

Creating a New Collection

  1. Click on + New collection… from the Collections landing page or Browse Collections page. 


Creating a new collection from the Kinship site

  1. In the dialog that appears, enter a name and description for the collection.
  2. Click Create at the bottom of the dialog to finish creating your collection.

Editing Collection Info


After a collection has been created, its properties can be edited through the collection’s three dots menu – located at the top right of the collection’s Contents page or to the right of its name on the Browse Collections page.


  1. Click on the collection’s three-dots menu and select Collection Info from the dropdown.Three dots menu for collections
  2. On the Collection Info screen, you can edit the collection’s name and description and change the collection’s privacy setting.
  3. Click the Done button to save any changes made.Collection info page

Deleting a Collection


From the three-dots menu, it’s also possible to delete the current collection by selecting Remove collection.


This will permanently remove the collection and all its contents from Kinship. Please note that this operation cannot be undone.
