This table shows the permissions for each role within Kinship.

The Administrator permissions shown below apply when Security Administrators are enabled. If Security Administrators are not enabled for your team (see User Roles), then Administrators will have the same permissions as the Security Administrator shown here.

  1. Unless a Collection is shared with the member with edit permissions. 
  2. Unless the member is part of that Project. 
  3. Unless the member is part of the Project to which the Private Collection is assigned. 
  4. When the Content Manager makes the collection private, they will be added to the collection’s sharing list with Edit rights, so they can still manage the collection. 
  5. Unless the member is the Project Manager of that Project. 
  6. Content will be added to the Library as unapproved. 
  7. For projects that are visible to the user, e.g. the Project is Public, or the user is part of that Project’s Team. 
  8. For collections that are visible to the user, e.g. the Collection Public or assigned to a Project that is visible to the user, e.g. the Project is Public, or the user is part of that Project’s Team.
