The owner of a Kinship team is in ultimate control of the team's account and is the only role that can request changes to licensing or close the account.
The person who initially sets up a Kinship team is automatically set as the owner. See our article on User Roles for complete details on owner permissions.
The owner may transfer ownership to another team member or add up to four additional owners to help with managing the Kinship team. Below are the steps to transfer or add owners.
- Navigate to the Manage team members page.
- Click on the three-dots menu and select either Transfer Ownership or Change Role if you would like to add existing team members as owners.
3. An email notification will be sent to both the current and the new owner.
