Install Kinship to search your organization’s content from within Revit, sync Revit project content, and upload new content to your library.

To install Kinship on your computer:

1. Download the KinshipSetup.exe installer. (Note: new users are offered a link to download the installer when they first join a Kinship account).
2. When the download is complete, run the Kinship setup.
3. When the installation finishes, an activation window will appear on your desktop. Enter your email address in the activation window.
4. An activation link will be sent to your email address. Click on the activation link in the email. This will open an page in your web browser.
5. On the activation page, click the “Activate” button. (Note: if there is any information missing from your user profile, you will be asked to fill in the missing profile information as part of this step.)
6. Your browser will display a warning asking if you would like to switch apps to open Kinship. Click “Yes” to confirm you would like to open Kinship.
7. Kinship will display a success message confirming that Kinship has now been activated on your computer. Click “OK” to dismiss the success message.
8. To confirm Kinship is running on your computer, find the Kinship icon in your system tray:
