To access Kinship each user must be registered with the system. For organizations using SSO users can use their corporate credentials, otherwise they will have credentials based on their email address.
Adding users to Kinship
Each user has to be registered with Kinship to have access to the website and search capabilities in the Revit add-in.
If your organization has Single Sign On enabled then the sign in will be automatic and the user credentials will be the same as the corporate ones.
Otherwise each user will have a separate account, usually their work email. Note: an email address must be unique in Kinship and one email address cannot appear on multiple teams.
Users can be added to Kinship through one of the following ways:
- being invited by an administrator
- registering themselves when it is configured for their domain
- automatically being joined in organizations which have SSO enabled
