Files - Family Details

On this page you can see details of the files stored for each family. Typically for a component family this will include at least two files.

• A thumbnail, made by Kinship when the family is loaded.

• The .rfa family definition file.

Other files, such as Lookup Tables can also be stored here.

If you are an administrator two buttons will appear on the right of the page (highlighted with red circles in the screenshot below).

• Clicking on the nine-square icon in the top right will reveal any older versions of files associated with the family. These older files will be shown in paler colours to distinguish them from the active ones. These files may be created because a family is edited and re-uploaded with the same name, overwriting the earlier copy.
• You can download any of the files by clicking on the file’s tile.
• You can delete non-RFA files which are active (not greyed out) by clicking on the cross which appears in the top right hand corner when you hover over the file’s tile.
• You can upload other files by clicking on the Add button in the lower right.
