Use Library Lists to organize your content
From the Library, you can add any item to one or more lists to keep it organized and sorted the way you want. For example, you might have a set of items of different Revit categories that are used for interior design projects.
Adding these items to a list called Interior Design will help locate that content within the library.
You can add content to more than one list. For example, you could have an Interior Design list and a Lobbies list that both contain the same lounge family in your library.
Search for content in a Library List
On the website
- Go to the Library In the Lists section, select the list that you are interested in. If the list you are looking for is not shown there, click on the See All link on the top right of the section and search for the list you want
- Within a list you can then scroll to find content and click the Load button to add it to your model.
- You can also search and filter within the list.
On the app
- Click the ribbon's Kinship search button.
- Type a search term.
- On the Library tab, click on the dropdown button to see your lists and select the one you are after.
Delete an item in a Library List
- Click on the More menu
on an item in a list and select Remove.
- Click Remove item from list to remove it from that list, or click Delete item from library to remove it from the list and the library.
Any Library item can be in one or more lists. Removing an item from a list will remove it from that list only.
Deleting an item from the library will delete it from the library and remove if from any lists.
Updating an item in the library updates all instances in any lists.
