To access your team settings you click on your profile icon on the top right of the Kinship site and select ‘Team settings’ from the dropdown menu that appears.
You will be taken to the ‘Team settings’ page where you can change the following settings:
Azure Single Sign On
Allow your team to sign in to Kinship using their existing Active Directory accounts on Microsoft Azure.
Upon activation, you’ll receive a special link that your Azure administrator must click in order to give permission for Kinship to integrate with your existing Single Sign-On service.
Add-in Channel
This setting determines which version of the Kinship add-in your team members will use. You can choose to have your team members use the latest release, the current alpha or beta versions, or a specific release version.
By default, team members will always use the latest release. For the Beta, Revit needs to be closed before installation, and then restarted post installation.
Team Signup Mode
Control who can join your Kinship team. You can choose to make your team signup by invitation only, or allow anyone with a certain email address format to sign up.
Thumbnail Extraction
Kinship’s auto-generated thumbnails make it easier for teams to visually navigate content and projects. Due to the nature of Revit and the Revit API, the process of extracting these images can sometimes cause Revit to crash.
This setting controls whether Kinship will extract thumbnail images from families and model starting views. Please note that this setting can be overridden at the user level.
Model Sync Rules
Enter full or partial paths or filenames to automatically add or prevent models from being added to Kinship.
