Adding content to Kinship will also check for a number of possible issues and report those as warnings.
Content can later be filtered by the different warning labels and acted upon.
The warnings are in the following main categories:
Type Catalogs - Issues related to the type catalog file and its relation to the type, for example if the catalog file is empty or cannot be found.
Lookup tables - Issues with a look up table and its relationship to the family, for example if the look up table is missing.
Naming - Issues with the family names, for example is it empty or does it end in a space.
Hosting - Issues with the hosting, for example a host based family which has no host face.
Geometry and Views - Issues with the geometry or views of the family, for example there are no visible 3D elements.
Parameters - Issues with parameters, for example if the string value is over 512 characters.
Corrupt family - When the family file appears to be corrupt and may have generated an error or crash in Revit.
Revit Errors - Any family related errors which were generated from Revit.
